The first thing that made me purchase this is because of the packaging. Second, because RIHANNA. Who doesn't love her voice? And because sometimes, dressing down doesn't mean you don't have to have a red lippie on. It makes everything look polished!
Packaging
Other than the obvious that it's red, it looks really matte and feels really velvety. It also has Riri's signature inside, as you can see below.
Shade and Finish
Viva Glam Rihanna is described by MAC as blue-red with frost finish. Also, "Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM goes toward helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS." That's a good one! You won't feel guilty when purchasing this for yourself. *wink* Heads up, this is a limited edition.

Glides on smoothly and doesn't accentuate dry lips. I thought it will be super frosty but it's actually not. It has visible micro sparkles in silver but it gives dimension on the lips. See photo above? It's totally a personal preference when purchasing a red lipsticks in a finish you want. I also like it in matte but sometimes, in shimmer as well.
It stayed on my lips within hours; almost 3-5 (without eating!). The center part fades after eating so I suggest bringing the lipstick with you when going out. (Who doesn't?) It doesn't bleed on me. It transfers like crazy! Seeing red lipstick on your food (e.g. fries) is just, ugh. Hahaha but no one should definitely know about that except you.
Overall
I like this lipstick. But love? I don't know. I can wear red lipstick from day to night, but not everyday. But some people do! (Bows down to them!) Compared to the amplified creme finish, this is less moisturizing on my lips but it doesn't really dry them out. And, this retails for 1000php. I've also read that some aren't a fan of MAC's frost finish. I have no problems with it and actually I like it! It's not over the top as opposed to what some people say.
